How can you help?

You may not know that the 5th Barry Sea Scout Group is a charity and is run by volunteers. The Scout group costs a lot of money to run each year and with a limited amount of income from membership fees. This is why the group has to run various sponsorship and fundraising events throughout the year. If you have attended or supported any of our events, thank you very much but of course the group needs continued support.

The Fundraising team work hard with the section leaders planning and running the events but we are always looking for team members to help raise funds for the group. You don’t have to give up a lot of your time just give us some of your time, so if you would like to help please contact us or speak to your section leader.

We understand that everyone has busy lives but even by having the internet you can make the group some cash by using the website below.  There are 2 ways you can make the group some easy money from the click of a button. Please read below to find out.

We ALL use the internet to shop etc. so please use these search engines to help raise much needed revenue!

For example, if you do a weekly shop with they will donate £2.50 every time you place an order with them, but you must go through the link below to ensure we  receive the money. There are over 2000 companies that are waiting to give us money.
